The Family Circus

Do you remember those Family Circus cartoons where the mom would give Billy a task and you'd see footprints all over the neighborhood that showed Billy's route as he went about his one task?
That is now our life. At least this weekend we had an enthusiastic helper in our never-ending MB chase.

One of MB's favorite people of all time: MO-NNIEEEE! [Or Molly, if you pronounce your L's.]

Molly even caught her a few times. :) She's much faster than we are.

I had to document the rare moment of inaction. It lasted about two minutes, but it was a sweet two minutes.

We also took a trip to the zoo this weekend, which is always fun. We go fairly often, but we always learn something new. On this particular trip, we learned that MB gets what MB wants.

She mostly wanted her hands to be held...even though she was being pushed in the stroller. She's so cute about it, though, how could anyone say no?

There was lots of Daddy time this weekend,

But it was still sad to see him put on a tie this morning and go back to work. Molly and Kirby are headed back to North Carolina, and we even said good-bye to Aunt Day-Day [Or Kaylan, if you pronounce your K's] this weekend as she headed off to Rome for a month.

Hopefully MB will settle for plain old mama for her entertainment for a while? Poor girl.

We hope you had a great Memorial Day weekend!
